My poem, “The Three Forks War,” from my poetry chapbook “The Architect of French Fries” tied for 10th place in the recent Poetry Super Highway 2020 poetry contest. Presa Press published the chapbook. The poem itself is based on a real conversation at the Hunan on Capitol Hill in Washington DC. I lived there for many years. I am thrilled to have this poem recognized as it’s one of my favorites.
