New poetry book, Chasing Sunsets, of poems about Charleston, Daniel Island and of course Sunsets, now available!
There’s nothing better than watching a good sunset. All the colors: orange, red, yellow, pink are a sight to see. The sun blazes across the sky then dips down to sleep on that end of the earth at night.
This new book of poems by award winning poet LB Sedlacek involves the setting sun as well as place poems in Charleston and Daniel Island, South Carolina as well as the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina and West Virginia.
There’s just something about watching the sunset. Take time to stop and watch the sunset wherever you are!
On Saturday Feb 4th, local Poet and Author LB Sedlacek will be doing a book signing from her newest books at Tybrisa Books in Lenoir. The two featured books are “Night Swim” which is poetry and “The Jackalope Committee and Other Tales” which is mostly Science Fiction short stories and a few flash fictions. Tybrisa Books greatly supports local authors and will also have other copies of Sedlacek’s works available as well.
